Claude Chiasson (ZH Virago), a MLG Rainbow Six Vegas Pro, was recently found in Halifax, Nova Scotia enjoying a little Halo 3 action with his local friends at the “AMP Your Game National Gaming Tour” tent.  Even at the age of 30, Virago still manages to find time to keep up with the gaming world and most surprisingly, even compete in the “AMP Your Game Tour’s” first audition of the Halo 3 “Search for the Pro” competition in Halifax.

During the 2007 Major League Gaming season, Virago emerged onto the scene and showed the U.S. that Canada had talent.  Virago and his Rainbow Six team, already veterans of online gaming, finally came to the decision that they would take their gaming to the next level and attend all of the 2007 MLG events in the States.  So, Virago and his team, also known as interFEARance made their debut at MLG Charlotte with high hopes to come out on top.  Even though it was the first event of the season, interFEARance struggled in Charlotte and finished the event in eighth place.

After the disappointment of MLG Charlotte, Virago and teammate Game decided to break away and create a new, more solid, team.  Thus, with players breaking away from interFEARance as well as Myth, the members from each team managed to find one another and build two new teams: the new interFEARance and Control.  With a fresh team in hand, Virago made his way to the next stop of the MLG season, Meadowlands, New Jersey.

InterFEARance had finally been given their time to shine and after hard work and determination, Virago and the team were able to snatch third place in Meadowlands.  With their expectations high, interFEARance made their way to Dallas, Texas where they hoped that first place would finally be theirs.

Team interFEARance (Virago, GaMe, Perception and Blood n Glory) did what they set out to do.  In Dallas, the team battled it out, showing no mercy, and in the end, interFEARance’s team practicing and strategy plays paid off, taking top spot at that event.

Nowadays, Virago is stepping back from the competitive gaming scene.  At the age of 30, he is concentrating on becoming a pilot, a career he has high hopes of obtaining.  With the coveted status of “professional gamer” under his belt, and the title of “Champion of Rainbow Six Vegas MLG Dallas 2007”, he has accomplished what most gamers can only dream of.
