Now in its fifth year, the MLG Pro Circuit has grown from a series of grassroots local tournaments into large-scale, sold-out competitions which attract the top pro gamers and thousands of players and spectators, with captivating live play-by-play broadcasts from each circuit stop. In 2008, ESPN.com is covering the entire Pro Circuit season with live reporting from each competition.

In November 2007, MLG held its premier Canadian event with the launch of the Ford MLG Canadian Open. Held at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto, the event attracted top gamers from across Canada and the United States.
Set to enter its 14th year, Fan Expo Canada is a multi-genre convention covering the sci-fi, comic book, anime, horror, and gaming genres. Fan Canada Expo showcases over 600 exhibits and is the largest pop culture convention in Canada.
