![]() Call of Duty may only be in its first live event, but that fact has not diminished the excitement we've witnessed here tonight. The Winners Bracket Finals and Losers Bracket Round 3 have just been completed, and both matches had both fans, players, and referees gasping for breath. In the Winners Bracket Finals, Envy Us held off a talented CA FEAR team in five very close games. CA FEAR is not out though, as they will now battle in the Losers Bracket Finals for a right to a rematch tomorrow. In the Losers Bracket Semi-Finals, we witnessed a continuation of an earlier series between TBRE and Head Trauma. In Winners Bracket Round 1, TBRE had bested Head Trauma in four games. Because of this, they took the earlier scores and ramped up the series to a best-of-eleven. The Head Trauma team we witnessed in this round was much different than the team we saw earlier in the tournament. Shocking everyone nearby, Head Trauma climbed their way back into the series, game-by-game, as they evened up the score at 5 games apiece. Game 11 would decide this series, as both teams were fighting to remain in the tournament, knowing that a loss here would send them home empty handed. Sabotage on Strike was all that mattered at this point, and Head Trauma was determined to keep on fighting. At this point, the match had raged on for almost three hours, but neither team seemed to be remotely tired. Callouts were still being shouted from player to player, the trash talk was still as sharp as ever, and when it was all said and done, Head Trauma took the game 2-1, in what has been officially proclaimed as the longest match in MLG history. Stay tuned tomorrow, as CA FEAR will take on Head Trauma for a right to battle Envy Us in the COD4 National Championship Finals. Activision Publishing, Inc. is not a sponsor of this contest.
