Bryan Rizzo (“Legit”) Captures Halo 2 Free for All Crown

TORONTO, November 2, 2007 – Bryan Rizzo (gamer tag: Legit) emerged from a field of 256 gamers tonight to be crowned the Halo 2 Free For All champion during the opening event of the 2007 Ford Major League (MLG) Canadian Open at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto.

A native of Clearwater, Florida, Rizzo earned $1,000 for his victory.

The Halo 2 Free For All championship finals featured four Canadians and four Americans.   Toronto’s Max Rawal (gamer tag: MaD MaX) was the top Canadian, finishing second.  Kevin Garcia (gamer tag: DARKscorpion) of Toronto took home third place while Brandon Moniz of Mississauga captured fourth. Thomas Dressel (gamer tag: Silent) of Montreal rounded out the top eight.

The top eight finalists all received prize money from a purse of $3,900.
