North of 49 : Alpha XFactor talks Canadian Open

 

As North of 49 enters into their third round of Halo II, how are you feeling about the teams performance?

"The team is really meshing well this tournament". North of 49 has recently added Silent (Tom) to their team and he is really performing this weekend. Silent and Alpha XFactor ranked in at 38 kills with 15 deaths. Silent also finished 8th in Halo II Free For All. We're excited to move forward and play End Result. That should be an intense game.

Are you digging the over experience of the Northern Digital Expo?

MLG Canada has been really successful in creating a good environment. There is a lot to do when you're not competing. Having the bands hereare awesome. They can be a bit distracting when you're gaming but they add a lot to the environment.

How are the gamers who are new the tournaments reacting to the Ford Canadian Open?

Everyone is really excited to finally have MLG in Canada. I've had a few kids come up and ask for autographs. It's great to see that so many new gamers a competing. A lot of them know they're not going to win but they are still really excited to play against a pro.  They come to play and stay to learn. Once they are out, they stick around and watch teams play, see where they are making mistakes and improve their strategy.
