Canadians well represented in 2007 Ford MLG Canada event TORONTO, November 3, 2007 – Stacked Like Pancakes posted a perfect 5-0 record tonight en route to capturing the Gears of War four vs. four title during the 2007 Ford Major League Gaming (MLG) Canadian Open at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto.
The United States based team featuring Kenneth Lawson (gamer tag: CrReam) of Middle Island, New York; David Lyons (gamer tag: I DLYI) of Erie, Pennsylvania; Manuel Roman (gamer tag: Scar) of Brooklyn, New York; and Ryan Watson (gamer tag: TAKEDOWN) of Cape Cod, Massachusetts emerged from a field of 33 squads to capture the first place purse prize of $2,400. nUcLeaR WaVe, a team featuring three Canadians and one American, finished as the runner-up.
