Day one of Rainbow Six Vegas 2 competition opened up with some rather intense games. Following a complete blowout by Lost Cause, allowing only 3 kills througout the entire match-up, we saw them advance easily into the next round of the upper bracket in open play. Along with LoSt CauSe, we saw UnLeasheD defeat PMS Crimson Aces as well as 12th seed vVv Fatal 4 take out Indoctrination 2008. Topping off this round of competition was a hectic match between Xcutioners and Heaven and Hell. Round after round came down to a dramatic showdown, with Xcutioners taking it every round. The final round of Attack and Defend pitted Dark Zone and tackt1cal in a 1v1 situation. After a stand-off, Dark Zone was able to swiftly take out tackt1cal with a nade, ending the battle and allowing him to defuse for the win. With YounG TaLenT moving along against the Frag Dolls, we can expect to see the competition heat up as we advance through the open bracket. |
