Major League Gaming (MLG), the world’s largest professional video game league is finally coming to Canada! In November, Toronto will become the most exciting place on the planet for Halo2, Gears of War and Rainbow 6 Vegas teams and free-for-all video gamers. Whether you are a gamer or a fan, our large video screens, main stage and exhibits will entertain all.
This event marks the beginning of a revolutionary pro gamer league for Canadians, one which we can now call our own. Although MLG Canada is a professional league, anyone is welcome and encouraged to compete at this open-registration event where big prize money is paid out and winners earn the right to be considered Canada’s Best Gamers! All you have to do to get your shot is come out and show us what you’ve got.
MLG Canadian Open will kick off as part of the 2007 Northern Digital Expo, at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto.
If you have aspirations of becoming a professional gamer, MLG is the place to make it happen, and the MLG Canadian Open is where you can prove that you have what it takes. So how do you get in? The first thing you need to do is to register which begins in a few short weeks. Tournament online registration will be available through our main website in mid July.
